I was given the option, and I came in.

25 miles, pretty much a dusting where I started, probably 6 inches at work.

I did it in 2WD because I always see 2WD trucks on Craigslist and always wonder how hard it would be. I know that's kinda stupid, but hey.

I just find it funny, we got 27 inches in one night. On top of the foot we got a few days prior, nothing was shut down. Everyone went about their day. Record snowfall for our area in Northern Japan.

i used to use 2wd all the time. its fun. i liked 4wd for when i got stuck. I'm at home today. I have quite a pile to dig out. unfortunately i'm still workin. I would have tried to go to the office but my boss drained the pipes shiut off the water and is probably in his secret undreground bunker

Yeah I'm in Japan too but used to live in Montreal... It didn't matter if it snowed or not in Mtl... Nothing would stop... But in the US it seems like it's quite a mess after a few inches of snow...

Lived in Chicago before this, there is a huge difference between the states and Japan when it snows. Granted they don't really plow and they barely if ever salt the roads where I'm at. Despite this, it doesn't stop people from doing normal activities.

Live in central VT and work in Burlington - nothing happening here (yet?). Though, not supposed to be more than a couple to a few inches anyway, so off to work I went!

Nice - I'm hoping we at least get something out of this storm. I have a few inches on the ground in Barre where I live, but, Burlington it's really low with grass showing under the trees and the banks are all brown.....it's time for some white stuff, dammit.

I haven't seen grass in months. Except for when I drifted in my yard and the snow turned green from the tires dragging grass clumps across it.

Lol, that sounds like an excellent game...minus the death my wife would deal me for tearing up the lawn....

I actually don't think it'll be that bad.

Working from home here in Worcester. Work is in Waltham and they told us yesterday to not come and to work from home.

We have over 2 feet so far. Some drifts I shoveled were above my waist and I'm 5'10"
